Can you believe autumn is already upon us? đ Time flies when youâre having fun and thatâs exactly whatâs going on with our Vineyard Tribe and residents! With the fall season in full swing, we have many activities and events coming up. In our October 2021 Newsletter, you can get a sense of what our Tribe is up to, resident events, fundraisers and more!
Vineyard Ribbon Cutting đ
On the first day of this month, we celebrated our official ribbon cutting, in partnership with the HHI-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce.Â
Guests enjoyed a memorable evening of live music, refreshments and reminiscing on an amazing year since opening the doors to our very first residents!Â
A huge thank you to our home office and Vineyard Tribe members, community partners and of course our amazing residents for “Standing By Us” this year!Â
We look forward to many more milestones as a community!
Vineyard Gives: Walk to End Alzheimer’sÂ
For our Vineyard Gives initiative this month, our Tribe is participating in the Walk to End Alzheimerâs.Â
The walk is taking place on Saturday, October 30, at the Calhoun St Promenade, with registration starting at 10 am. Get more info on the walk here.
Please consider donating to our Vineyard Team! Each year, we walk to benefit Alzheimerâs research. This is a cause very near and dear to our Tribeâs hearts, as we work with our Memory Care residents and their families.Â
Sponsoring Bluffton Self Helpâs Sips and SeafoodÂ
Weâre proud to sponsor our partner Bluffton Selfâs Help famous event â Sips and Seafood. This annual event is always a hit. So much so that the in-person tickets have already sold out. But you can join in virtually! At-home tickets include:
- Beautifully packaged, mouth-watering meal from Chef Christopher.
- A video from Chef Christopher and Bethany Hewitt on how to reheat the wonderfully prepared meal(s).
- A link to live stream the event, hear the program, be inspired and enjoy the entertainment by East Coast Dueling Pianos.
- Opportunity to shop the online silent auction.
The event takes place Friday, October 22, 6 – 10 pm. All proceeds directly benefit Lowcountry residents in need.
Pumpkin Decorating Contest đ
We’re bringing back a VERY popular event for Halloween this year! Our Annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest.
Each department decorates a pumpkin with all their Tribe member’s help. Our residents serve as judges to pick the best one â they love being involved in this fun Halloween event. There’s also a trophy involved and our staff members are quite competitive to win! đÂ
Just one of the many fun activities we have on our calendar for the upcoming month!Â
(PS: Aren’t last year’s pumpkins amazing??)
