Vineyard’s Senior Santa Fundraiser – December 1-16
As a part of our Vineyard Gives community initiative, we’re hosting a Senior Santa fundraiser this December. In partnership with the Beaufort County Council on Aging, we’re collecting donations to provide Christmas gift baskets for homebound seniors.
You can drop off donations to the Vineyard Bluffton Information Center during any time from now until December 16. The Vineyard Bluffton team will assemble baskets and deliver to local homebound seniors, just in time to enjoy during the holidays!
What can you donate? Any new and unopened item that would be useful or fun for older adults with limited mobility. Use this list as your guide:
- General hygiene and grooming products: toiletries such as shampoo, body wash, soaps, lotions, combs, toothbrushes, nail files or clippers, lip balms, etc.
- Utility tools: Magnifying glass, stationery, stamps, pens, small notepads, flashlights, reading lights, night lights, pillboxes, etc.
- Fun activities: crossword puzzles, mahjong sets, jigsaw puzzles, board games, etc.
- Comfort items: blankets, pillows, scarves, hats, gloves, mittens, etc.
- Food: Non-perishable canned, boxed, or jarred foods.
Our Valeo Americas Senior corporate mantra is Work Hard, Have Fun, Help Others. This holiday season, help us help others, by donating to the Senior Santa fundraiser!
