To kick off our March 2021 Newsletter, we have a message from our Director:
We’re so excited that we get to celebrate together with you, our residents and loved ones the very first spring at Vineyard. This will be the first time we see our perennials blooming.
We can’t wait to take you around to the back when visitation opens up and see our beautiful fountain in the back courtyard. It has special lights for different occasions and will light up in the evening for our dinners on the patio.
We’re looking forward to when we can all be together and have our anticipated Easter brunch in our Magnolia dining room.
Until then, we can just imagine how nice it will be. Looking forward to those days but enjoying the ones we have now.
Happy Spring!

Vineyard Gives: Hilton Head Humane Association
We’re supporting the Hilton Head Humane Association this month as a part of our Vineyard Gives initiative.
The HHHA is a wonderful organization that provides a safe haven for abandoned cats and dogs in Lowcountry. Over the past year alone, they’ve cared for more than 3,000 abandoned, injured, abused and feral cats. Consider joining us in supporting the HHHA, as they’re entirely funded by membership dues, private donations and generous bequests.
HHHA accepts donations via mail or by making a drop-off appointment. To make it easier, here’s their donation wish list:
- Larger blankets, fleece or similar
- Medium blankets, fleece or similar
- Nylabones, large or x-large
- Kongs, large or x-large
- BIG dog beds
- Wet kitten food, like fancy feast kitten
- Cat toys, all kinds
- Germ-X
- Clorox wipes
- Bleach
- Paper towels
- Tissues
- Toilet paper
- General office supplies, like pens, paper, Sharpies, dry erase markers, Forever stamps, etc.
Previous Month’s Happenings
While February is a short month, our Tribe squeezed in a ton of fun activities for our residents and their family. Check out just a small sampling of our past month’s events.
Local Artisan Craft Fair
We hosted a local artisan craft fair, where our residents, families and friends could stop by and shop. Each vendor was a unique local business that offered products and goodies with a flair! We also enjoyed perfect weather for an outdoor event. ☀️
Valentine’s Day Celebrations
We had many Valentine’s-themed festivities for our residents, including making themed-pillows, creating gorgeous flower arrangements and a Valentine’s Day Ball!
Salute to our Amazing Tribe
This past month—and every month—our Vineyard Tribe goes above and beyond. We’re so thankful to work with such dedicated, thoughtful, fun and kind individuals!
Happy Spring Season 💐
We appreciate you popping in to read our March 2021 Newsletter. There’s nothing but sunny skies ahead and we can’t wait to see what this new season has in store for our Vineyard residents and Tribe!
