Fall is upon us! As we continue into the beautiful autumn season, we’re excited to see our Vineyard Bluffton community progress and take shape. In our October Newsletter, we’ll cover all the events held at the Vineyard Bluffton Information Center, as well as those of our partners in the Lowcountry area. 

After the evacuation this past month following Hurricane Dorian, we want to thank all the first responders and community members who banded together to assist each other. Once we got back into town, we were very fortunate to have a productive and eventful September! South Carolina Assisted Living Association – Fall Conference – September 30 – October 2

We’re looking forward to attending the SCALA Fall Conference and Trade Show to kick off the month of October. “Growing Community, Together” is one of our Valeo Senior mantras, and large events like this allow us to do that within the senior living industry. Not to mention, networking with South Carolina-based professionals offers us an invaluable opportunity to learn about the latest advances and innovations in senior care.

Fashion for a Cause – October 11

Looking for fresh pieces to spice up your fall and winter wardrobe? Join us for our Fashion for a Cause event on Friday, October 11. Meet with our professional fashion consultant to try on the latest styles, sample new designer trends, and get an expert opinion to pick out beautiful ensembles. Everything will be available for purchase afterward.

You can attend one of two sessions. In the morning we’ll enjoy a champagne brunch to accompany our fashion consulting, with cocktails and refreshments in the afternoon. A percentage of the proceeds will benefit the local Lowcountry Alzheimer’s Association.

Coffee Chat – Wednesday, October 16 

Come have a cup of joe with the Vineyard Bluffton tribe and get to know us and our community! We’re hosting an informal Coffee Chat to give community members the chance to stop into our Information Center and learn more about assisted living and memory care at Vineyard Bluffton. We’ll have coffee and pastries and hold tours of our model apartment. 

Walk to End Alzheimer’s – October 26

The Vineyard Bluffton tribe is honored to take part in this national movement to find a cure for Alzheimer’s. We will be a sponsor and participating in Bluffton’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday, October 26. 

Please consider signing up and supporting this incredible event. On the day of the walk, don’t forget to stop by and say “Hi!” to the Vineyard Bluffton Tribe and grab a bottle of water!

This event was a smashing success. Everyone enjoyed a lovely round of golf on another beautiful Bluffton day. We were happy to be on-site to help support the Hospice Care of Lowcountry and all that they do!
